Rifter Leader of the Dire Clan is one of Six left after the extinction that killed all his family 1,000 years ago.
Rifter and his pack mates have been cursed to live forever and guard over humanity and make sure that the werewolves are kept in check. But it has become more dangerous to be a Dire and a Werewolves then any other point in time because there are weretrappers ( witches and humans with black magic) who are trying to kidnap the Were's and Dire's to experiment on them to trying to create a army strong enough to defeat them. While all this mess is going on Rifter finds himself in a bigger mess after meeting Gwen a human who has less than a month to live and Rifter will find himself choosing between Gwen and his pack. If he makes the wrong choice he will be forcing himself to live forever with out Gwen.

The book was just not for me first off it started all wrong with Rifter meeting gwen an then automatically they go to the bedroom and it doesn't get better after that because 80% of the book was Rifter being horny/thinking about fucking Gwen/fucking Gwen/dreaming about fucking Gwen. There was no real interaction between the characters they all seem like a bunch of nymphos. I also hated Max (secondary character)she was such a bitch and I wished Liam would have killed if she wasn't pregnant but since she was I guess the next books going to go more in depth between the dysfunctional relationship Max and Liam had.

Emma and Brendan have finally broken the 1,00 year old curse that has kept them apart for so long. When Emma finally think she and Brendan are going to finally be happy she gets attacked. Now Emma and Brendan have to figure out who's trying to hurt her before its to late. Whoever is trying to hurt Emma might not just hurt Emma physically it might also ruin her relationship with Brendan. Will there love be strong enough or will there relationship tare apart?

Wayyyyy... better than the first book there way more action and it was also cool to see Emma as the one in charge. I also liked that she saved the day and didn't wait for Brendan to come to the rescue like the last book.

P.S. Don't forget the book is out today for those who enjoyed the first book you will really like this one.

Do not read this book!
One of the worst book I' ve ever read and that's saying something because I've read awful boo but this tops those books. The reason I dislike this book so much was because it was plot less all the book was about Skyla thinking two guys are hot and not knowing which one hotter and which one she wants to sleep with. All the characters ever thought about or talked about was sex having sex or thinking about having it.I seriously don't even know why the author tried to add a paranormal aspect to the book she should of just made it about stupid teenagers sleeping around and girls with lie self esteem. I Hate YA novels that focus 80% of the book about sex. If I wanted to read about sex I would have read a Erotica or PR novel which have way better written plots and sex scene then what YA authors come up with.
PLEASE YA AUTHORS STOP FOCUSING ON THE RELATIONSHIP ASPECT OF A BOOK TO MUCH AND FOCUS MORE ON THE PLOT.

Another thing I disliked was that Skyla had no backbone she listened to everything Logan said and hanged around him like a dam puppy. Idk about y'all but I hate characters that come off needy and who need to constantally reasured that they are important and that they are loved by the MH (main hero)

Bah waste of .99 cents

P.S. did not finish could only get 3/4 of the way done. So if the book got better after 3/4 of reading it idk and I don't care.

Emma Conner's has has a hard life. She lost her brother at age 14 and her mother a year later. Now Emma feels like anyone who gets close to her will leave her sooner or later so when her aunt tells Emma to move in with her she refuses at first because she thinks her aunt is going to leave her. So Emma chooses to stay with her Step dad after her mom dies but soon Emma finds out her step dad is nothing but a abusive drunk who almost got her killed. Now Emma is finally ready to start a new life in New york with her aunt. The first day of school Emma meets Brendan a sexy rocker type guy who she has an unexpected connection right away. Emma doesn't know if she should try to get close to him or stay away but soon Emma will find out that no matter how hard she try s there is no escaping Fate.

The book had a super slow beginning the first 200 pages where about Emma hating school and hating her life which I found annoying. The plot wasn't really explained well it was basically Emma meets Brendan falls in love and the last 30 pages are really the only part I found interesting because the rest of the book seem like a waste of time.
I don't recommend this book if you like fast pace or Paranormal Romance because there really was no paranormal aspect to the book other then Emma and Brendan being star cross lovers and Emma being a witch.

Best book I ever read! This book was so amazing I don't think I can help myself if I give everything away so this review is going to be different instead of giving a short summary of the book I'm going to list the top TEN reasons to read it.

10. Werewolves ! Duh!

9. We meet new characters ( Beauclaire very important fae)

8.Hot intense love scene

7. You get to see more of Anna and Charles life outside of the pack.

6.There's serial killers and in the ending it will leave you speechless who the serial killers where.

5. We get to learn more about fae and how there dynamics work .

4. The werewolves have finally come out of the closet in this book.

3. We see a vulnerable Charles and we get to know him more as a person then a killer.

2. For those who have been waiting for more then two years for the third book, trust me worth the wait.

1. The ending was so explosive and good I felt like crying because now I'm going to have to wait two more years. :(

At age seven Caia is sent away from the pack after the death of her dad and Alpha. She is sent away for her own protection and after being gone for more than a decade Caia is ask by the current alpha Lucien to come back. Caia doesn't know why she was sent away and she soon learns that everything she has believed is a lie and everyone she cares about has lied to her. There's also Lucein the Pack alpha who Caia has an unexpected connection to and can't stop looking and lusting after him. But Soon Caia will learn that there is only one person she can trust and that herself because she trusted and cared about Lucien but soon she will uncover a secret from the past that may ruine what she felt for Lucien.

I love the story plot but I hate the relationship she and Lucien have because Caia is such a bitch to him and treats him like dirt and to me it feels she is to immature to handle Lucien and Lucien also treats Caia like a fragile flower. I don't like the romance aspect of the book I think it was just a after thought from the author and should have been left out all together because I think the plot is way more interesting and thats what she should have focused on.

Madeline Black is a Agent of death and descendent of Lucifer and she has managed to single handedly defeat the Faerie Queen Amarantha and the demon army that was trying to rebel against Lucifer. But what Maddy doesn't know is that there might be another enemy out there that she didn't know about. Now Maddy and her Crew of mighty sexy men (Gabriel, J.B., and Sebastian) have to find out who there unknown enemy is and what it has to do with all the humans suddenly dying without being marked by death. If it wasn't complicated enough Maddy has to find the Wolfs Pack Alpha and there missing children before it's to late.

I love this book!!!!!!!!
The only reason the book didn't get 5 stars was because there was a certain event in the end that I was not pleased about and I'm still mad about it because it reminds me of what happen at the end of "For A Few Demons More" by Kim Harrison and if you've read the book you know what I'm talking about. Other then that the book was full of action Maddy was the same old kick ass chick we all love and Gabriel was the same old same old grumpy and sexy Nephilim/Fallen Angel we all love.
Recommend this book to all those who love a good Urban fantasy series.

Alex will also have to choose between Aidan and Seth her other half. She knows that there is no future with Aidan but she can't stop loving him. Will there love be strong enough in the end or will they submit to the councils will?

Sophie has finally got what she wanted all along to be a normal girl with no powers. Now that she doesn't have them she misses them but the more important she needs them if she's going to beat the evil forces who want to make all the students at Hex Hall Demons. Will Sophie have the courage to be the leader everyone knows she is or will she give up and let the evil forces win? There's also alot of surprise in the book such as why the Brannick's want Sophie so bad and she finally decides where her heart belongs (well sorta).

Spoilers

The book was underwelming and I like d the first two books better. I also think the book deserved a more satisfying ending. It was also disappointing how Rachel killed off Cal. Like I get that she wanted Sophie to end up with Archer but she could have done that with out killing off Cal, because to me it seem like she didn't give her any choice but to end up with Archer since she killed Cal off without giving Sophie a chance to get to know both of them outside school or outside the drama because I believe if Sophie would have been given a chance to get to know Cal more she would have ended up with him . One thing I did like was that Sophie parents got back together.

Holy Shit!
Finally what we all been waiting for!

Zoey and her friends appear to be stronger then ever there building there own HON in the depot and Zoey has finally started to get over Heath death and is ready to move on with Stark . Neferet appears to be getting stronger also since she joined forces with the White bull( Straight up Evil) and she has a plan to destroy Zoey and her friends once in for all and start Chaos between the vampires and humans.

I love this book it should sides of all characters we haven't seen before. Like Lenobia's who has a new stabble hand who happens to be a sexy cowboy and she can't help be drawn to him . I can't wait to read more about them and hopefully they end up together. Also we see a side of the twins we never seen before and I think I like that side better becuase I use to be annoyed by them because I thought they were brainless twits but in the book we see that Shawnee is vulnerable and is just trying to fit in . We also meet Aurox a creature created by the white bull who is suppose to be mindless and listen to every command Neferet gives but he appears to come with flaws and is trying to find out who he is. The best part of the book was the ending because the Council is finally going to find out who Neferet really is and I can't wait to see what goes down in the next book between Neferet and the council.

After returning from the Otherworld Zoey is ready for a break. Now all she wants to do is stay at Seoras Castle and spend sometime with Stark. But Zoey will learn that you don't always get what you want and she forced to return to the House of Night in Tulsa where she'll have to face Neferet again. Now the time has finally come that the Vampyres will have to choose between following Neferet or stay true to Nyx.

The book was kinda slow nothing really happened other than someone important dying and Neferet choosing to become more evil. I'm kinda getting tired of a;ways seeing Zoey lose I wish she would win for a chance because it seems like she's always losing someone. I really liked how we got to see more Rephaim & Stevie Rae. The ending was just totally mind blowing with how Nxy appeared before the entire House of Night and forgave Rephaim and gave him a human body by night and as punishment for killing Anastasia a Raven, and it really sucked in the end how Dragon couldn't forgive Rephaim after he begged for forgiveness but I understand why he couldn't forgive, but still not cool how choose Neferet side instead of Nxy, but hopefully Dragon will change his mind and choose the right side because from how things are going it seems like he has given up and is ready to die.

Eve and Roarke are having a good time celebrating with the cast of " The Incove Agenda" a movie based on the case Eve solved and what makes the evening more wierd is that the cast looks exactly like Eve, Roarke,Peabody,
and Ian. Eve soon finds out that all is not what it seems, because K.T. Harris who is playing Peabody in the movie is soon found dead, and at first glance it looks as a accident but soon Eve will find out that it's not and that a monster is hidden where everyone least expects it.

In Death is one of my favorite series of all time I never get tired of reading about eve and Roarke they make a highly unusual couple that some hoe fits, but I gotta say I was disappointed it his book it wasn't one of the best and I gotta say " celebrity In death" has been my least favorite in the series because I'm use to seeing Eve in action and to me it seem like the case was to easy and everything that happen in the book was predictable it didn't leave me wowed or amazed it left me craving for more.

17 year old Alexandria was forced to runaway 3 years ago when her mom decided to leave the Coven but now that her mom has been killed by the Daimons she is forced to go back to the Coven but she doesn't want to go back because the Coven doesn't tend to forgive Half-bloods. the Coven tends to make Half-bloods into mindless servants when they mess up ,but as luck would hold it she is given a second chance to become a sentinel and kill Daimons. Soon Alex will learn that luck has nothing to do with it and she'll wish she never found out the truth about why her mom forced her to leave.

GREAT BOOK!
Wow this book rocked I could not put it down and Alex was an amazing character se reminded me alot of Rose ( Vampire Academy0 they both tend to act first think later but thats what makes me love them more that there not afraid to make tough choices to save the one's she loves. I think the only problem with the book was that it wasn't long enough and the beginning of the book reminded me a little of Vampire Academy especially the part about how Alex ran away and is back and is forced to train with Aidan who she falls in love with. Aidan my gosh he seems so sexy and mysterious and the love scene OMG!HOT! I want to read more give me more!

The Prophet has predicted that the world will end in three days now all Mia has to do is survive until then or the world might just end.

It's not as easy as it sounds because after the Earth Quake it seems like her mom has withdrawn and doesn't want to do anything but watch the Prophet blab about how the world going to end and it seems like she and her brother are now at odds because he wants to help everyone even those who are lost. If that wasn't enough Mia is being followed by the Prophets followers and Seekers who want her to join there cause. The Prophets want to brain wash Mia and the Seekers want Mia to sacrifice herself for there cause. Mia doesn't want to join either cause she just wants to be a normal girl and not have lightning strike her every time it rains and right when Mias's about to give up she meets Jeremy a guy she never met before but seems to be connected with. Soon Mia learns far more than she wanted to know about the Prophet and his evil plan so now she and Jeremy have to find a way to stop the Prophet or alot of people are going to die.

I loved what the author was trying to create but when all was said in done I don't think the book lived to its potential. What I liked best about the book where the characters because both seem so broken and ready to give up but when the author put them together it felt like they gave each other strength and in the end they saved each other. Which I loved because it felt like they where equals not a girl needs to be rescued and saved by her BF. What killed the book and series for me was the ending. The ending was a total let down it basically build alot of suspense but in the end it didn't deliver and by the time I finished the book I was done with the series.

Soon after Emma learns that Galen is not what he appears to be he is a mythical creature and she is to. Read the book to find out if Emma will risk everything to find out who she is or if she rather stay human and ignorant to her destiny.

I really liked the beginning it had a really strong introduction. the plot of the book kept me interesting through out most of the book but I founds some scenes unnecessary and the didn't really leave me Wowed, but I really like Galen he seemed to be tough, vulnerable, stubborn all at the same time and what i liked best about him was that he seem to have a laid back kinda personality that fit well with Emma who seemed to intense at time but went well with galen. I also enjoyed the side characters they where funny at times and down right annoying at others.

At the end of "Nice Girls don't Live Forever" we saw that Jane wasn't ready to get married to Gabriel but after months of living together when Gabriel proposed for the twentieth plus time ever Jane finally agreed to get married. Jane realized that after all the catastrophes that happen she was finally ready to settle down and marry Gabriel but before any wedding can occur she has to figure out who's trying to kill Gabriel. If that wasn't enough jane's Grandmother has died and has decided to take residence in her home and is making Jane's and Gabriel's life miserable so Jane has to figure out a way to get rid of her Grandma's ghost and find who's trying to kill Gabriel before it's to late.

I wasn't to sure if I wanted to review this book because I love Jane but this book was disappointing. I thought the book was going to focus more on Gabriel and Jane but like the other books it's mostly focused on Jane messing up and trying to fix her messes which now include raising a teenage buy who by the way I still don't understand why the author had to add in the book ( a 17 year old kid name Jamie who Jane use to babysit got run over and Jane saw that he wasn't going to survive so she brought him over as a vampire) who by the way I don't like because he seem snobbish and annoying. The ending also left me think WTF? The ending made no sense and the wedding was just not what I expected.

Paris has spend countess nights hating and thinking about Sienna all he could think about is Sienna and that night they spend together. So when Paris finally discovers a way to save Sienna from Cronus Paris goes after her. It may not be as simple as he thinks because Sienna is in the Realm of Blood and Shadows, a hidden Castle out side the Heavenly Kingdom, which is protected by evil forces and the only way to get inside is to defeat the Gargoyles. Paris must find a way to rescue Sienna before she submits to Cronus wishes and if that happens well the world might just end.

OMFGWTF? I've been waiting for Paris book since I started reading the series which was about two years ago and I gotta say it was everything I wanted and more. We see a side of Paris we never saw before and he had me crying at times, because I would have never thought that Paris would hate himself so much. at first I felt sorriest for Torin because he can't touch anyone and he's a thousand's year virgin ( which sucks!) but I think it would be even worst to have sex with countless of strangers. Anyways Paris and Sienna make a great couple, but the only reason I didn't give the book a 5 start was that Paris and Sienna relationship fell into place to soon I would have liked to see one of them put a little bit of a challenge but I guess there relationship has been building up from the last 5 books.
We also get to see Ashlyn's twins born which by the way I would have liked to know more (pls Gena write a short story for Maddox & Ashlyn). The biggest surprise was Galen in the end I felt a little sorry for Galen and now I hate myself for loving him a little bit and wishing for him to have a happy ending. All in all the book was great and now I can't wait for july to be here.
