Review: Sexiest Vampire Alive

SEXIEST VAMPIRE ALIVE
KERRELYN SPARKS
RATING
3/5 STARS

This is the 11th Novel in the Love at Stake series and I gotta say it was pretty disappointing. I love Gregory I couldn't wait to read his story he always seemed so funny and fun but in this book he seemed to lack personality. Gregory and Abby also seemed to lack the chemistry the other characters had .
What I did like was that there is a new twist I thought Connors novel would be the last in the series since they killed Casimir but I guess Kerrelyn not done with the series and I think I like Master Han better then Casimir. Master Han just seems more interesting and more evil then Casimir I always thought Casimir was a wuss and I can't believe it took them that long to kill him. All in all I probably wouldn't read this book again anytime soon but I still looking forward to reading the next novel.

Review: The Darkest Surrender

THE DARKEST SURRENDER
GENA SHOWALTER
RATING
4/5 STARS

When I first heard that Kaia was going to be Striders heroine I was mad because Kaia seemed like a Big HOE and in my opinion Strider deserves the best and Kaia was obviously not good enough for him. To my surprise I actually like Kaia we got to see her side and I know she slept with Paris but that was before she realized that strider was her consort, and also we got to see the real side of Kaia because in other books she just seemed like someone who couldn't take
anything serious but in the book you'll see that Kaia is the ways eh is because of something that happen when she was 14 and since then most of the Harpies hate her.

DONT READ BEYOND THIS POINT BIG TIME SPOILER

One thing that bothered me was that the book had to much going on. On one side its Kaia & Strider on the other it's Paris & Seinna,Kane & Horseman,William. There was way to much and going on and I felt Gena was overwelming us to much on one side it was Strider and Kaia trying to win the Rod and on the other Kane find out that he's going to start the apocalypse and if thats not enough William and Kane are kidnap by hunters and Paris finally goes to Heaven to rescue Sienna. Don't get me wrong I really loved Striders and Kaia's story but I would have wished to read more about them then and less about secondary characters because hello this is Strider's book , but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy reading from the secondary characters I just wished that the book would have been more focused on Strider's and Kaia's problems not on everyone else's

I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE WHO LIKES SEXY HEAD STRONG CAVEMEN

CAUTION THIS REVIEW HAS SPOILERS

This book had so much potential to be such a great book but again I was a bit disappointed. I absolutely love this book don't get me wrong. I like all the characters and Jo has such a strong character.
What bothered me in this book was that all the progress that Jo seemed to have made in the first book was lost in this book. In some scenes she seemed more like the lost clueless Jo she was at the beginning of The Scent of shadows then the one at the end. She seems to let Warren manipulate her and she never seems to question his orders( though she never really follows them) . Jo seemed to depend to much on what Warren and the others told her to do then follow her gut though in the end she did listen to her instinct and let all the anger go.
I also don't know what to think about whats going on between her and Ben. I don't know if I should approve or disapprove because it seems obvious that there love can't go anywhere but in the end when she found out that the daughter she gave up wasn't Joaquin but Ben's I wanted to cry because I felt for her . She missed and probably hated her daughter on some basic level thinking it was Joaquins, but I also think she made her choice and no matter what she thinks of her daughter now that she knows it's Ben's I think its best if she just lets her daughter be ,because has made her choice and now she has to live with it. Also I don't know what to think of Hunter yet he still seems mysterious to me and something about him I don't trust. Can't wait to read the next book and see what happens between Jo/Ben/Hunter

I got an extra copy of this book if you want it enter for a chnace to win it. All you have to do is leave your name and be a follower.

Turned into a vampire against
her will, twenty-eight-year-old Merit found her way into the dark circle of Chicago’s vampire underground, where she learned there was more to supernaturals than met the eye—and more supernaturals than the public ever imagined. And not all the secrets she learned were for sharing—among humans or inhumans.

Now Merit is on the hunt, charging across the stark American Midwest, tailing a rogue supernatural intent on stealing an ancient artifact that could unleash catastrophic evil on the world. But Merit is also the prey. An enemy of Chicagoland is hunting her, and he’ll stop at nothing to get the book for himself. No mercy allowed. No rules apply. No lives spared. The race is on.

Opinion
OMG beautiful cover as always, but I'm sad that the books not going to come out until July :(

hailed as “impossible to put down,” the Hex Hall series has both critics and teens cheering. With a winn
ing combination of romance, action, magic and humor, this third volume will leave readers enchanted.

Just as Sophie Mercer has come to accept her extraordinary magical powers as a demon, the Prodigium Council strips them away. Now Sophie is defenseless, alone, and at the mercy of her sworn enemies—the Brannicks, a family of warrior women who hunt down the Prodigium. Or at least that’s what Sophie thinks, until she makes a surprising discovery. The Brannicks know an epic war is coming, and they believe Sophie is the only one powerful enough to stop the world from ending. But without her magic, Sophie isn’t as confident.

Sophie’s bound for one hell of a ride—can she get her powers back before it’s too late?

Opinion
I think this is my favorite cover from the series. Sophie looks older and prettier then in the other covers.

Review: The Scent of Shadows

THE SCENT OF SHADOW

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK IT'S SOMETHING NEW AND WAS HEROINE WAS SO KICK ASS!

I would have probably given this book 5 stars but the reason I didn't was because I was disappointed that the author choose to base the book in such a awesome location but they rarely mention Vegas other to say it's a great place I would have wished to hear more
about Vegas, and I would have liked to see Joanna AKA Olivia out more then just her house and the save house because practically the entire book she was either at her sisters house/safe house/her fathers Casino they did not mention any of the awesome places in Vegas. Other then the minor problem the book was AWESOME. Joanna is truly one of those characters you either love or hate and I Love her at the beginning of the book I wasn't so sure if I liked Joanna because she just seemed to bitter from her past but as the book progressed her character evolved and by the end other the book she was still the same person but less bitter and more willing to live life at it's fullest. The book also kept me interested because at every turn there seemed to be a surprise and the ending left me guessing and wanting more. I also liked that the author didn't dwell to much on the romance part of the book because I'm tired of reading Urban Fantasy books that dwell to much on the romance parts. It's like hello it's a Urban Fantasy book not a Romance novel, but don't get me wrong I love me a steamy romance novel but I also love to read a good action book.

I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE WHO LOVES A BITCHY/SARCASTIC/MEAN/HOT HEROINE AND IF YOU LIKE A VIRGIN CLEAN HEROINE DON'T READ THIS BOOK.

I promise.

Okay I know I promised along time ago that I would finally blog but I did not keep my promise and it is not because I'am incapable of blogging it's because I just find it really hard to write a review with out adding spoilers so I have decided that if I'm incapable of blogging with out spoilers well then that is that I will blog as I wish to do it and if those who do not wish to read spoilers well sorry but most of my reviews from now on will contain spoilers. I will try not to give away the BIG twists but I cannot promise. All I can promise Is that my reviews will be fair and I will try not to be to harsh because I hate reading reviews where the reviewer is negative about everything. I know that some books are just horrible but in every horrible book their is something that's well not so horrible and if I do have to give negative reviews I will do it in a good way.

Ohhh. and have you seen the new cover of the 9th book in The Lord of The underworld series?
Here's the official blurb!!!! So exited!!!!
