[Review] Biting Cold: Author Chloe Neill

Biting Cold by Chloe Neill
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Chloe never disappoints this is by far........ the best book in the Chicago Vamp series :) Give me more I need more Meritt and Ethan

The book picks up where book five ended

Ethan and Meritt are forced to join forces with the Order Chief Archivist in order to protect the Maleficium and to keep it from Mallory hands. But what they don't know is that Mallory isn't the only one after the Maleficium. A old enemy will come back and if he and Mallory gets there hands on the Maleficium a evil will be unleashed like no one has ever seen before.

I love this book it was so awesome and we found out alot of shit we didn't know before. Thank you Chloe for answering some questions :)

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

Like we finally meet Darius the BOT(Bitch on Top) the leader of Greenwich Presidium, which basically rule all the vampires and keeps them on check. We get to see how Darius wants to cast out the Cadogan House out of the GP because of all the drama that has gone on surrounding the Cadogan house, but whats more surprising is how it all ends (cough cough last page)

We also get to see Meritt and Ethan finally take a step toward a relationship and all I have to say is THANK YOU finally it is like 5 books over do,but what I like best is that there both actually talking about there problems instead of ignoring them and getting mad.

But all in all the book was awesome there is only one thing I would change about this book and that would be add more GABRIEL I love him he's just so manly and Alpha. Grrr.. want more Gabriel next book.

[Review] Gunmetal Magic Author Ilona Andrews

Gunmetal Magic by Ilona Andrews
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ilona and Andrew did it again this book was AMAZING!
Ilona could probably write a paragraph and make it the most interesting paragraph ever. Now I'll just have to wait for their next Kate's Daniel book, and one thing I know for sure is that there not going to disappoint.

Andrea has never been able to count on anyone and anything all she has accomplish has been done on her own sweat and blood, but when things where starting to change and she knew she could count on Raphael and Kate but than a tragedy happened and she was left alone again. Now Andrea has to rebuild her life after being kicked out by the Knight of Merciful Aid. All she has left is Kate who stood by her side while she was going through shit and Kate has offered her a job working for her company Cutting Edge, now Andrea has to go and investigate who is killing members of the pack. But she will have to work alongside Raphael who left her when she most needed him, but she knows that without his help she will not be able to find the killer in time.

Will they be able to workout there problems or will they be left alone with nothing but their pride?

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

I gotta say I was routing for Raphael and Andrea ever since they broke up in book 4 but what I like best about there relationship was that they weren't all mushy mushy they knew they both had issues and they where able to work out there issues before they got together and that to me is what a real relationship is about not just saying I'm sorry and going back to fucking like nothing happened. No that is not what happened it was a long and slow process before they finally forgave each other and decided to become Mate.

[Review] The Lady is a Vamp by Lynsay Sands

The Lady is a Vamp by Lynsay Sands
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Better than I expected.

So I have been extremely disappointed in the last couple of novels Mrs.Sands has written. After reading the last couple of books it felt like the characters where lacking and 90% of the time I felt like the author was pushing the relationship on them instead of it coming naturally, but this book was a total surprise the plot was actually cute and believable though there where some problem with the story over all I highly enjoyed it and it gives me hope for the series.

First of all I like to say that Jeanne and Paul where so cute together they made a awesome couple and the way both of them have suffered and been through heart break make the story more enjoyable and make me like the characters more. But what I like best about this book was how Paul put his child first and showed how he would do anything to keep her alive and that to me made me fall in love with Paul he seemed like a great dad and would make great husband material.

The reason I did not give the book 5 stars was because toward the end the book just went down hill. I won't spoil the ending but it wasn't as satisfying as the beginning or middle it was just ok and left you craving for a better ending.

[Netgalley Review] Covet Author Melissa Darnell

Covet by Melissa Darnell
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Covet picks up where Crave left, Savannah has saved Tristans from the Vampire council but it comes at a price Savannah has promised to break up with Tristan and never see him again. But what Savannah isn't prepared for is Tristan, who vowed not to give up on Savannah and he promised her that he would find a way for them to be together. Soon they realize that they arnt prepared for what has been thrown at them.

Will there love survive both the Vampire Council and The Clann or will they be torn apart for good?

Better than the first book it seemed better composed and it had you guessing Savannah and Tristans future together the whole book. What bothered me alot and made me give the book 3 stars was that Tristan and Savannah went back and forth through out the whole book. They did the whole I love you but I can't be with you, and I love you and I want to be with you lets try it again through out the entire book. I was seriously fed up ,and by the end of the book I really did not care if they ended up together or not all I wanted was for them to decided and to STOP going back and forth because it took up to much of the books time.

I will definitely read the next book the ending was satisfying and redeemed the book for me.

[Review] Solid Author Shelley Workinger

Solid by Shelley Workinger
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

OMG
I can't believe I waited so long to read this book it was really good.

Calliope is one of hundred teenagers that was sent to a Army base to do research on after Colonel Clark finds out that drugs were given to pregnant women, and they want to find out if the drugs have any permanent affects or if it has altered there DNA. Soon Clio and her friends find out that the drugs give them a little extra something something some of the kids are abnormally good athletes and some are great artist but the the third are the "normal kids" which soon Clio finds out is a lie they have the ability to become invisible. So now Clio and her friends have to find out why they have been lied to and why? They soon realize that their is someone out their who means them harm so now they have to find out what's going on and who's behind everything before it's to late.

For being Shelley first novel it was really good. I found that most first time author'shave their story line all over the place but Shelley kept the issue of the book front focus she didn't put the romance aspect of the book as front focus don't get me wrong I love Romance books but sometimes Romance takes front focus and distracts me from the main issue and I end up hating the book because of it. But Shelley found a perfect balance of both Romance/Action. Only issue I had was that the book wasn't long enough and that the ending was not satisfying at all.

I will definitely read the next book.

[Review] The Light Tamer Author Devyn Dawson

The Light Tamer by Devyn Dawson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Jessie has had her world turn upside down in two weeks her father has left to Greece to find him self and her mother has forced Jessie to visit her Grandmother for the summer who lives in North Carolina.
If that wasn't enough she finds out she's a light tamer and she has a soulmate who happen to be the Nerdy kid who saved her from drowning when she was a kid,but now he's not so Nerdy anymore he's all grown and hot. But soon Jessie will find out that not everything is perfect there are bad light tamers out there who will try to suck the light out of Jessie and Caleb. Now Caleb and Jessie have to figure out who's trying to steal there light before it's to late.

SPOILER SPOILER DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW HOW IT ENDS.

The book had great potential but it was way to short and i felt like none of the characters where well developed. Also Jessie's and Caleb relationship felt to superficial.

Not in Caleb's view of point because I could actually see that he truly loves Jessie since the day he saved her from drowning and gave her a piece of his heart. But in Jessie's view point she only remembers Caleb as the scrawny pale, creepy kid who use to always hang around her trying to hold her hand, and her opinion of Caleb totally changes after she see's him and he's all hot and sexy it's like seriously? What if he would have still been the scrawny pale kid would you still feel the same way and have that "unexpected connection "that makes you want to kiss him the instant you see him?

I don't know through out the whole book Jessie bothered me I just did not like her she just seemed so stupid and I officially hated her towards the end when she forgot who Caleb was and the way and was like out of love with him and in love with another (she was hit by some lightning and forgot who Caleb was and lost her bond with Caleb when some other light tamer saved her so now she has bonded with some other dude which by the way don't remember his name and don't feel like looking it up cause he's not important, all you need to know about him is he's a douche and doesn't even come close to measuring up to Caleb} It's like seriously? Especially after Caleb was there the whole time trying to make her remember and Jessie seemed totally uncaring she was rude and mean to Caleb the entire time telling him to get out and that she doesn't want to see him.

I totally felt for Caleb I actually wanted to cry for him because he has suffered all these years without Jessie and she can't even bother to remember and instead of trying to remember she's all up on some other guy who by the way comes out of no where and says he's her soul mate, seriously can Caleb catch a break. But it all worked out in the end sort of I was kinda confuse and I'm looking forward to reading the next book and seeing if Jessie gets a clue and starts acting like she really loves Caleb cause if I was Caleb I would kick Jessie to the curve.

[Review] What The Heart Wants: Author Kelli McCracken

What the Heart Wants by Kelli McCracken
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

MUST READ !!!!!!

Heaven (OMG love that name) is in L.A. for the weekend to attend her bestfriends wedding along with her sisters Faith, and Hope who also happen to be her triplets and during the wedding recital she meets,Dylan who she instantly feels connected to and feels like she knows him from somewhere

But what Heaven doesn't know is that Dylan feels the same way and that the first time Dylan saw Heaven he instantly knew that she is the girl of his dream literally the girl of his dreams.
Dylan has been dreaming about Heaven for the past six months and he feels like he's missing a part of his heart until he meets Heaven, now all Dylan has to do is man up and tell Heaven how he feels but it's not as easy as he thinks because Dylan is afraid that Heaven doesn't feel the same way.

Will Dylan get over his fears and tell Heaven how he feels or will he let his fears ruine everything?

OMG I LOVE THIS BOOK!
Dylan is just OMG there is no word to describe him he's just perfect in the best way. The way Dylan and Heaven interact you could tell right away they are meant to be together forever and whatI love best about the book is how Dylan and Heaven came to be soul mate, I swear I was literally crying during some parts especially when the book switched to Dylan POV gah I wish the whole book would have been in Dylan's POV the way his mind worked and the way he feels is just inspiring and it has me wishing for true love.
I'm glad I read this book I almost didn't because the cover just didn't do it for me,so if your holding back on reading this book because of the cover don't because the book's AMAZING!

NEW COVER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!Born of Fury Author Sherrilyn Kenyon

Can't say I've ever been a fan of any of Sherrilyn's book covers but I gotta say her writing makes up for it. So like the saying goes don't judge a book by it's cover.
But seriously can't wait for this book I still haven't read Born of Silence but I'm sure both books will be great because Sherrilyn does not know how to write a bad book.

Summary

Setting: Ichidian Universe

The war is on…

Counted among the fiercest Andarion warriors ever born, Hauk is one of the five founding members of the Sentella- an organization that has declared war on the League that rules the Ichidian universe with an iron fist and terrifies it with an army of well-trained assassins. Hauk’s enemies are legion, but he fears nothing and no one. He will do whatever it takes to survive and protect his Sentella brethren.

Sumi Antaxas is one of the best assassins the League has ever trained. In her world, failure is not an option and she has never met a target she couldn’t execute. So when she’s assigned Hauk, she believes it’ll be a quick and easy mission.

But nothing is ever as simple as it seems, and Hauk is far better trained and skilled than his dossier shows. More than that, as she pursues him, she stumbles upon the key that will bring down not only Hauk, but the entire Sentella organization.

In the race to report her information, she is overtaken by enemies out to end her as effectively as she intends to end Hauk. Now her only key to survival is the one man she’s been sent to kill. And Hauk doesn’t trust her at all.

The only question is, will he help her to live… or send her to her grave.

I love Gena Showalter she does not know how to write a bad book all her books I've read have been awesome including Wicked Night which is the first book in the series Angel of the Dark. For being the first book in the Angel of the Dark Series the book was pretty good there was somethings that bothered me but all in all I can't wait to read more about the Angel world and meet the rest of the characters. One thing that did bother me alot was how some of the characters seemed to much like the Lords of the Underworld.

[Review] Borrowed Ember: Author Samantha Young

Borrowed Ember by Samantha Young
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I can't say this enough but Samantha Young is a Genius or should I say Jenius.

This book took me through a journey and I actually found myself wishing I was in the book, it takes alot for a book to impress me or make me gush now a days because I have read so many books that there all starting to sound the same but I can actually say " Borrowed ember " is totally unique and has been one of the best reads this year. I love everything about this book, characters, plot and I can't believe I'm saying this but I felt myself loving the villains.
The Villains in the book are actually different from any I ever read they actually have depth and you can actually see that there not really evil it's more complicated than that and you determine who the villain is by choosing a side which to me has been hard to choose especially in this book cause it's hard to see who actually right. It's especially confusing ,because in this book ,Red and White king are both shady characters but they both have a depth that makes them endearing to the reader especially the Red King I was so surprised by his action in this book I felt myself hating him for deceiving Ari but at times you saw a side of him that was sweet and actually cared about Ari but I guess time will tell who's side he's actually in and even the White king had redeeming moments even though in the end he did a really shitty thing (view spoiler)[killed Ari's mom (hide spoiler)]he wasn't as bad as I thought he was but yeah after the book ended I can't say that I'm wishing a happy ending for the White King.

But one thing I'm sure about is that I love Ari and Jai together they make the perfect couple there not sickly sweet and they both have flaws which makes me love them more. I'm really glad Jai confronted his dad in the end and made it known that he loves Ari I think Jai has changed the most out of any character for the good. Don't get me started on Charlie grrr... I hated Charlie from the beginning of the series he's always been a coward and hidden behind his brothers death blaming every action he's done on his brothers death but instead of growing into a better person and trying to do good he became a pot head and a slut and blamed everything on that fateful day. But I guess everyone grieves in a different way but the way Charlie did in wasn't only hurting him he was hurting Ari but i'm glad Ari finally woke up and realized that she was never in love with charlie and that what she has with Jai is the real thing.
But I found myself hating Charlie in this book specially at the end. I keep wishing Samantha would kill Charlie through out the whole book he's so stupid and to me he seems even more evil than the White King or any other villain because at least the White King can't comprehend that what he's doing is wrong but Charlie knows that what he is doing is wrong and he's just a coward who hides behind everyone and in the end I wished it would have been Charlie who died (view spoiler)[not Fallon (hide spoiler)]

I can't say it enough I love this series and can't wait to read the next book.

[Review] Tangle of Need: Author Nalini Singh

Tangle of Need by Nalini Singh
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Adria has been through a tough time recently she just recently broke up with her partner of 10 years Martin who she was used to bending in order to make him happy and now she doesn't really know who she is anymore. Now all Adria wants to do is find herself and see who she really is without a man .
But when Adria least expects it she meets Riaz, pushes her button like no one else has before and Adria finds herself falling for someone again. But the problem is Riaz has already found his mate who happened to be married so Adria feels like she will always be second choice.

Both Adria and Riaz have to go through a journey that will help them heal from there wounds but will they both come out healed in the end or will they let fear rule there life?

Nalini is one of my favorite Authors but this book didn't WOW! me it was really really good but not Incredible like her past books.

I think the reason I didn't fall in love with the book was that the characters didn't have a lot of interaction. It was more about them growing as person then growing as a couple But what I really liked was that we got to see Hawks and Sienna's Mate Ceremony I <33333 it I just wished it would have been a short story not in Riaz and Adria's story, because the mating ceremony literally took up more than half of the book and I think it took the spotlight out of Adria & Riaz. But the book was still really sweet because it might not have been all about Riaz & Adria but the parts that they were together I just loved. Riaz is just awesome he really knows his way around a girls heart and Adria seems like a tough chick in the outside but she's really a teddy bear.

(view spoiler)[But my favorite part of the book was when Mercy found out she was PREGO WITH MORE THAN ONE CUB OR KITTEN !!!!!!! OMGFGTXXX I can't wait to find out what she has. <3 (hide spoiler)]

[New Cover] Finale: Author Becca Fitpatrick

Not a big fan.
Is it just me or does it seem like the publishers did a REALLY BAD job at photo shopping
Patch and Nora. I 've seen self published authors have better book covers then this.

Well at least we could be glad the series is finally over because the plot just seems to be dragging....

What do you think?
Are you ready for the series to end or do you want more books?

NEW COVER ALERT!!!!!!!!!! Lover At Last: Author J.R. Wards

OUT MARCH 2013

Isn't this the best cover ever!
Finally after waiting two years for Blay and Quinn to get together
J.R. is finally putting us out of our misery and giving us their book. I swear if this book isn't as good as the others I will cry and send hate mail to J.R. j/k but i will be totally disappointed if it doesn't live up to my expectations?

I'm also intrigued to see how M/M romance turns out because I'm not really into M/M Romance, but from the scenes Blay and Quinn have had in previous books I bet Lover At Last is going to have alot of HOTTT scenes.

What do you think about the cover and M/M?

[Review] Sweet Evil: Author Wendy Higgins

Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I love this book it brought a total new twist to what Angels and Demons mean.

Anna Whitt doesn't know what she is all she knows is that whenever someone is close she can feel and see their emotions. Anna life changes the day she turn 16 and meets Kaidan. She can't read Kaidan's emotions he's a total blank to her and that intrigues, Anna because since she can remember she has been able to tell what the people around her are feeling.

But when she finally meets Kaidan he's not what Anna would normally find attractive he is the total opposite of her a bad boy who sleeps around alot, and she's a smart sweet girl who has never gotten drunk or had sex, but that doesn't stop Anna from falling for Kaidan even though she knows there total opposites Anna sees something in Kaidan that no ones ever seen before. But Anna soon finds out that Kaidan and her are not so different both of them are Nephilims who were born of human/demon union but in Anna's case her mother was a Angel and her father a Demon which make's Anna a unique person because not only does she not have the pull normal Nephilims have to sin but she has a pure soul. Anna soon finds out that her life depends on her sinning.

Will Anna soul remain pure or will she give into temptation and fall.

Anna was a total sweetie you could not help falling in love with her she was just so nice and innocent with a hint of wildness. But Kaidan was a total Jerk I hated him and I will totally hate this series if she ends up with him she deserves better than a cheating man whore. I know Kaidan can't help being a man whore but come on in Anna is strong enough to resist sin than Kaidan can too.
I'm team Kopono who is another Nephilim who wants to be good and who is totally sexy and makes a better love interest than Kaidan.

Team Kopono

But it might not be as easy s they think to kill the black witch because she has allied herself to the Siberian pack and has grown more evil and powerful over the years.

But what the witch doesn't know is that Love is powerful and can conquer all evil.

Now Decebel will have to put his big boy pants and find Jennifer and save there mating bond before it's to late and ends up killing both of them

Review/Opinion

I love this series!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jennifer has grown up so much over the months she has spend with the Alps pack, but what I love most about Jen is that she is still the same funny/energetic person she as at the beginning just more mature. Decebel has also changed a lot, he use to be a tough silent type but since Jennifer came into his life he seemed to have grown a personality.

I just can't get enough of these books they make me laugh so hard and I just love the way they all interact it seems so real and nothing seems force upon, and the way Quinn writes just seems to flow naturally.

Can't wait to read book 5,6,7,etc.....I just love this series and can't get enough of it.

[Review] City of Lost Souls: Author Cassandra Clare

City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Review
At the end of City ofFallen Angels Sebastian was brought back from death thank's to Lilith, and Jace was lost now Claire and her friends are on a mission to find Jace and bring him back. But what they discovered was that Sebastian and Jace are joined together if one dies the other dies as well but if that wasn't bad enough Jace has become Sebastian minion, because thank's to the bond whatever Sebastian feels or thinks Jace feels & thinks as well. Now Claire and her friends have to find Sebastian before the Clave does and kills him and Jace.

THIS SECTION CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!!!!!
STOP IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS!!!!!!!

Opinion

Book was broken down into three parts
Part One
Claire finds out Jace is missing and that somehow he is connected to Sebastian. Magnus and Alec are having problems ,because Jace is feeling like he's going to die sooner or later. That was pretty much what part one was about. There was some other detail but a lot of what happen during Part One seemed pointless and boring to me.

Part Two
Claire decides that the best way to free Jace from Sebastian influence is to make them believe that she has switched sides so she decides to travel with Jace and Sebastian to find out what there plan is. Alec,Isabella,Simon, and Magnus try to find a way to kill Sebastian without killing Jace.
Part two was okay during some parts it was a little to slow but over all I liked it because we got to find out more about each character. what I didn't like was that Mya and Jordan relationship was part of the plot no offense but what does Mya and Jordan getting it on have anything to do with the storyline. I could have done without Mya and Jordan there not really that big of characters and I felt like focusing on them was taking the spotlight out of the real issue of the book.

Part Three
Simon summons a Angel who gives him the sword that will take the evil out of Sebastian and free Jace. Clare finds out that Sebastian plan and that Sebastian has sick feeling towards her.
I really like part three I was at the edge of my seat during the last couple of chapters, and the only thing wrong with part three was Sebastian's feeling towards Claire I found it sick and twisted and I could have done without it. I don't know why Cassandra has a thing for incest because first it was Clare having the hots for Jace when she thought he was her brother now it's Sebastian wanting to get it on with Clare.
ewww.....

[Netgalley Review] Dak Kiss: Author Michelle Rowan

Dark Kiss by Michelle Rowen
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Review

Samantha has had a real hard time with her parents divorce. All she wants is to have things back to normal and for her long time crush to notice her. But when Samantha dream finally come true and Stephan kisses her it's not what Samantha has dreamed of all this time, because she realizes that Stephan had done something to her,but she doesn't know what. That's until she meet Bishop a Angel who has been sent to Earth to destroy the Gray, and after meeting Bishop, Samantha finds her self inexplicably drawn to him,but than her world is turn upside down when Bishop tells Samantha that Stephan has turned her into a Gray, a soul sucking humans who have no soul and steal humans souls by kissing them. Bishop tells Samantha if she kisses any human and steals their soul he will be forced to kill her.

But thats not there biggest problem, Samantha has to help Bishop find the other Angel's before it's to late. If they don't find the other Angel's soon the Gray will take over the world and destroy it. All is depending on Samantha and if she fails than the whole world will be doomed.

Will Samantha resist kissing a human or will she fall and doom humanity?

Opinion

Not a big fan of the book. There was something missing with the characters and the plot the plot was ok but the characters just didn't do it for me Samantha seemed like a insecure little girl who was looking for the approval of someone. Samantha also annoyed me because it was so obvious who the bad guys where ( the soul sucking Grays who stole souls by kissing humans) she seemed like she was confused and couldn't figure out good from bad, and at a point I was seriously ready to put down the book. It was so frustrating reading about Samantha she made you want to scream at timed.
Don't get me started on Bishop, there was nothing hot about him he gave me the creeps and I can't see why someone would fall for him.

Now Gwen has to find the Relic before the reapers find it and she also has to find out who were the reapers sent out to kill her mother and Gwen, but what Gwen doesn't know is that the killer might just be someone close to her and if Gwen doesn't find out who the reaper is,well that might just be the end for Gwen and Mythos Academy.

Opinion

I love that this is one of the only YA series that doesn't focus on forever love or love triangles (gag).
I don't think I can ever be bored from reading about Gwen. If Jennifer ever decided to extend the series to 30 books I will still be hooked on the series, because Jennifer has a way of writing and creating a world that you can't help be drawn to, and I wish I would have gone to Mytho's Academy. I think the only problem i had with the book was that Gwen is still to trusting and nice. I have thought that by now Gwen would have learned her lesson from trying to help Jasmine ,and with what went down with Preston, but no she's still to trusting and a lot of shit could have been avoided if Gwen would have grown a mean bone.

[Review] Trance: Author Kelly Meding

Trance by Kelly Meding
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I'VE READ SO FAR THIS YEAR.

Teresa "Trance" along with the surviving members of the Ranger Corp and Banes lost there superpowers after the final fight they had where only the children survived. The surviving member of the Ranger Corp where only 12 children who were put in the foster care system after there parents died and the rest of the Bane members where put in a maximum security prison.

But fifteen years later Teresa "Trance" powers have suddenly returned alongside with the remaining super heroes. But all is not right when Teresa discovers that she got the wrong superpower back. Which s the the power to blast purple energy balls and suddenly Teresa knows something terrible wrong is happening.

Now Teresa needs to figure out why her powers have finally return, why are they're all wrong, and if she's not the only one out there with her powers.
On her way to the rangers Corp base house Teresa finds Gage who she has had a crush on since she was 10 and she realizes that the only way to survive and find the others is to stick close to Gage.
Now Teresa and gage have to race the clock and find the surviving Ranger Corps before it's to late for them all.

This book was explosive none stop action the entire book.
From beginning to end the book was full of surprises and I loved that the book kept you in the dark about who the bad guy until the end. I also loved the characters they were all great to read about complex and with issues but at the same time lovable. It made me a little sad that all of them had rough lives and that there lives where torn apart after there powers were torn away and when they suddenly get them back they have to start over again and figure out what to do with there lives all over again and they basically all start from zero again.

I think the only problem I had was that way to many of the good guys died. Now I'm a little scared to see what happens in the next book because at least half of the original team didn't survive ad I'm wondering how many of the other's are going to die in the next book.

[Review] Black Dawn: Author Rachel Caine

Black Dawn by Rachel Caine
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Claire and her friends face the toughest challenge yet the Draug's. They're the toughest enemy they have faced yet, because not only are the Draug's hard to kill but even the vampires are afraid of them because they suck the blood out of the body without having to touch it and they need vampire blood to survive. So Claire and her friends have to find a way to destroy there leader Magnus, because once Magnus is destroyed all the other Draugs die with him. But it's not as easy as it sounds because Magnus clowns all the Draugs to look like him and the only person who can tell the Draugs apart is Claire.

Will Claire kill Magnus or will she loose the person she loves the most?

I love Rachel Caine she always delivers!
I love that instead of the series dragging along like other series (Sookie Stackhouse,Hush Hush,Cat & Bones) it's actually getting better.(view spoiler)[ The ending was awesome Eve and Michael finally got married I've been waiting since last book to know if they actually get married or if they break up. I love that rachel keeps us guessing through out the whole book, and the whole time I'm at the eng of my seat waiting to see if Rachel kills off anyone . So Thank you Rachel for not killing off any of my favorite characters because I thought we almost lost Shane, but it was sad to see Richard go (Mayor and Monica's brother). (hide spoiler)]

[Review] Until I Die: Author Amy Plum

Until I Die by Amy Plum
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Kate and Vincent are finally happy after killing the leader of the the evil Revenants(forgot what they were really called.lol) But it's not as easy as they think it will be. First they have to overcome the issue of Vincent being a revenant and having the urge to die,but Vincent promises Kate that he will do anything to resist the urge so he and Kate can be together.Second Kate realizes that she will grow old and die,but Vincent will always look like a 19 year old. So both Kate and Vincent agree to look for a cure that will stop Vincent from dying or will make him human. But Vincent is finding it really hard to keep out of harms way and sooner or later he knows that he's going to give into the urge and die while saving someone. But their's more at stake than just finding Vincent a cure, and Vincent & Kate, their's a Evil Revenant out there who is trying to kill Vincent. So now Kate & Vincent have to hurry up and find a cure because time is ticking and if they don't find a cure fast Vincent may just die forever.

Will Vincent survive to be with Kate or will he be killed once and for all?

I really loved this book from beginning to finish. Until I Die has everything I love in a romance, suspense, humor, and it blended well together not once did I feel like the book was to corny. Also the way the characters all interacted made me see that they blend well together and it made the book more enjoyable because I've read books that only focus on the MC and make the side characters a after thought. The ending was so heart breaking I had to reread it five times before it finally sunk in and I started crying. Hopefully Amy gives us a HEA or it will really suck, cause I love Vincent & Kate, they make the perfect couple without being to perfect.

Random?????

Okay this is a totally random post so bare with me and don't judge. lol don't worry it's all about books and movie's.

Okay I really want to know what
50 Shades of Gray is about? I keep hearing about it and seeing pictures of the book is it really that good?

Is the movie Hunger Games good? I also keep hearing about Hunger Games this and that but I gotta be honest I haven't read the books the cover description doesn't catch my attention so I'll probably never read the books but I want to know if the movie is at least worth the watch or are they a disappointment like Twilight?

When does the next season of True Blood start???????????

Thank you anyone who replays back to post and sorry if the questions sound dumb but I haven't found any of the reviews I've read helpful.

Oh and before I forget if anyone love Contemporary Romance follow my other blog!

[Review] Unleashed : Author Sara Humphrey's

Unleashed
Amoveo Legend Series #1
Author: Sara Humphrey's
Rating: 3/5

Samantha, is a struggling artist who is forced to move back home to live with her Grandma when her dream of hitting it big in New York goes down the drain. When she arrives home she meets Malcolm her neighbor and Samantha finds herself inexplicably drawn to him and she can't shake the feeling that she's seen him before.

When Malcolm sees Samantha for the first time he knows right away that she is the girl he's been dreaming about all his life and that she is meant to be his mate. But Samantha doesn't know that he's a Amoveo a Race of shapeshifter's that shift into different animals and that she herself is a half-breed; Half human/half wold, so now Malcolm will not only have to convince her that she is his mate but that she is also a Amoveo and that her parents were killed by a family that hates the Amoveo.

Will Samantha learn to accept herself and Malcolm or will her human fear give in? Samantha will also have to fear those around her because not everything is as it seems, and the enemy might just be next door.
The book was a little slow it took me a little over three weeks to finish and not because the book was bad written ,but because the book was to slow paced for my liking the plot also had potential but I felt like it was bad delivered and to much time was spend on Samantha's feeling and what she thought about Malcolm I would have liked to see less talking and more action.

[Review]the Mephisto Covenant: Author Trinity Faigan

The Mephisto Covenant
Author: Trinity Faigan
Rating: 3/5

Sasha will do anything to find out who killed her father even sell her soul to the Devil or in this case Eryx. But she soon finds out that it was all a trap and Eryx plans to kill her for being a Anabo (someone who is descendent of the daughter of Eve). But before they can finish Sasha off Jax come to the rescue and heals her. Soon after Sasha discovers that she is the only person Jax can ever feel peace and she's also the only hope Jax has to ever go to heaven. But Sasha doesn't want anything to do with him because he's Eryx brother. Will Jax convince Sasha to give him a chance or will he be destine to be destine to spend eternity in hell.

I absolutely love the plot and Jax he's not perfect but that's what makes me love him even more. I love everything about the book except Sasha she's what killed the book for me. She was all I hate you Jax but I want to kiss you and jump your bones. That girl was so annoying and in my opinion didn't deserve Jax she treated him like shit for most of the book, but when ever she was in trouble she was all like OMG Jax I need your help and kiss me please . Okay maybe she didn't say that but thats basically what she meant. Bah if Sasha would have died the book would have gotten a 5 star I don't think Sasha deserves a happy ending she's so selfish and Jax deserves someone who will put him before anyone and will treat him with RESPECT not boss him around.

[Review] The Last Echo: Author Kimberly Derting

The Last Echo
A Body Finder Novel 3
Author
Kimberly Derting
Rating
3/5

In the third installment of The Body Finder series we see Violet finally come out of her shelf and embarrass her ability.
Thank's to Sarah a FBI agent and Rafe a kid who saved her life and who happens to also have a special ability (sees events that may happen).
So after almost being killed and being saved by Sarah and Rafe,Violet has chosen to joined Sarah and the other kids who have special abilities.
At first Violet is hesitant to let Sarah and the other kids in because she is not use to talking about her ability to sense the dead but after learning more about them Violet feels like she's finally fitting in and for the first time in her life she doesn't feel like a freak.
On her first assignment Violet has to help find " The Girlfriend Collector" a serial killer who is killing young women by strangling them and then leaving them in refrigerators.
Now Violet and her new friends have to find who is " The Girl Friend Collect"because if they don't, Violet may just become one of his victims.

I love The first book in the series it was one of the best books I've ever read. I love how Violet and Jay interact and they just seem like the perfect couple without being to perfect and annoying, but this book was a disappointment. I think if I hadn't loved the first book to much I would have given this book 4 stars but since I love the first book so much I gave it 3 stars because this book is not even close to being as good as the first book. First of all there was hardly any Jay and Violet. It seem to me like the author just added Jay as a after thought and when Jay and Violet got together in the book it seemed like there relationship was being forced. I also hated the last 30 pages it seemed like Kimberly rapped up the book to fast and I wish she would have given more detail, because the ending was kinda blah.
But the one thing I loved about this book was how the author added the serial killer point of view ever few chapters because it helped me understand more the killers motive and I actually felt kinda sorry for him in the end. But anyways the book was good not great but good.
I really recommend this book if you love thrillers and kick ass heroines.

[Review]Cinder: Author Marissa Meyer

Cinder
Author
Marissa Meyer
Rating: 5/5

This book is so awesome it's a twist to my favorite princess story "Cinderella" and the way Marissa tells it is so much better than the original tale.

Cinder,is not your typical girl and not only because she is mechanic but because 37% of her body is made out of metal which makes her a Cyborg. Which make her a second-class citizen in Commonwealth, and Cinder is tired of being treat like dirt by everyone including her family or specifically step-mom and step-sister Pearl and the only human friend she has is her younger step sister Peony. But all that changes when Peony contracts the fatal virus that has been plaguing the world and Cinder is thrown into a world she never thought was out there.

That includes meeting Kai Prince of Commonwealth who needs Cinder to fix something of great importance to him that might just save him from a worst fate than death 9marrying Lunar Queen). But as Cinder gets to know Kai she starts falling for him because he has been nothing but kind to her but she knows that if he find out she's a cyborg he will be disgusted with her. So when Kai ask Cinder to go to the ball with him Cinder declines because she doesn't want Kai to know she's a cyborg and she knows that if she goes to the ball her step-mom tell Kai the truth. So Cinder chooses to give up on her fantasy of being with Kai and chooses to runaway. But right when she's about to leave she finds out that the Evil Queen of Lunar is planning to kill Kai the new Emperor of Commonwealth so Cinder has to put on her big girl panies and save Kai and the entire population before it's to late .

I can't believe I did not want to read this book. When I first saw The book cover I ready to totally over looked the book because of the cover, I thought ugh... what a ugly cover but when I read the description I was totally hooked. Trust me the book did not disappoint it was a new version to Cinderella and in my opinion a more exiting version (sorry Disney).
I can't wait to red the second book in the series the ending left me wanting for more.
