Amid the tangle of lies, an unexpected thread of truth connecting Ian and Kori comes to light. But with opposing goals, they’ll have to choose between love and liberty…

I REALLY LIKE THIS COVER BETTER THAN THE FIRST ONE. THE MODELS ARE SO MUCH MORE BETTER LOOKING AND SEEM TO FIT THE CHARACTER'S DESCRIPTION MORE.

Kate has chosen to leave the comfort and safety of her human world in order to join Vincent in the dangerous supernatural universe he inhabits. For his part, he has sworn to go against his very nature and resist the repeated deaths that are his fate as a revenant—even though it will bring him immeasurable suffering.

Heady with romance and rife with danger, the second book of the DIE FOR ME trilogy follows Vincent and Kate as they search—separately—for a solution to their plight, pursuing their quest from the glamorous streets of Paris to the city’s squalid underbelly. Although the experiment that Vincent attempts is progressively destroying him, he insists on seeing it through to the end. This prompts Kate to strike out on her own into the dangerous world of the revenants to find another way. But she unwittingly puts everyone she loves at risk when she discovers a family of ancient healers who hold the key to a secret that could help the bardia—the good revenants—overthrow their murderous enemies, the numa, forever.

And while the lovers search for something they have little chance of finding, a new threat arises among the numa. Kate finds herself in the midst of an ancient and deadly war, not as a bystander...but as a target.

KAY I ADVICE YOU NOT TO READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW THE ENDING. AGAIN DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW HOW THE BOOK ENDS.

Merit still basically depressed about Ethan dying but she keeps having dreams of Ethan warning her about trouble, but she thinks there just dreams until weird shit happens and she sees that the dreams may not be just dreams. So through out the whole book she goes back in forth with blaming former mayer Tate with being responsible for the shit that's happening and it kinda annoyed me that she kept going to Tate when the person who was doing the harm was right in her face. to me it seemed obvious who was responsible for the shit the was going on.

The ending wasn't a total surprise I knew Ethan was coming back but the thing that I dint expect was Mallory to go bad like it was obvious she was going to the Dark side in the beginning of the book but I was in denial until she tried to kill Chicago. In the end basically Ethan and Merit reunite but then she gets a cal from Catcher saying Mallory escaped and Catcher make Merit promise him to bring her back. To me it seemed kinda stupid to take Ethan because the reason Ethan came back to life was because Mallory brought him back as her familiar so if Mallory gets a hold of Ethan then she will have the power to control him and his energy which is so much more potent than a normal vampire because hes a master vampire.

P.S. the werewolves do not appear in this book which is kinda sad because I love Gabe he's just so Earthy and Sexy

Love Letter In Honor Of Favorite Urban Fantasy Novel

Dear, Curran there is no way I could describe in word how I feel about you and Kate. Reading about you gives me the chills you are an amazing Hero. You kick butt and you know your the boss and don't need anyone to kiss your ass. If I had to pick the perfect man it would be you. these are the reasons why I love you.

First, of all your the perfect combination of sexy and dangerous. Sigh
Second, of all if I had a man like you I know I would never doubt my self because I know you would never let.
Third, thing I love about you is that your not perfect and you don't pretend to be, you act like yourself and don't give a FUCK if you offend people.
Fourth but, not least I know being with you would be all I needed and I would never want for nothing as long as I had you.

Oh ,Curran...Kate is a very lucky lady to have you and if shes ever dumb enough to let you go know that I'm here.

Your's Truly
Elizabeth

P.S. I love you to Kate

Those who have not Read the series it's awesome!!!! Best series ever.

Publication Date: January 31,2012

Monster hunter Evangeline Stone woke up on the wrong side of dead this morning—and now there’s hell to pay.

Barely recovered from her extended torture at the hands of mad scientist Walter Thackery, Evy can use a break. What she gets instead is a war, as the battered Triads that keep Dreg City safe find themselves under attack by half-Blood vampires who have somehow retained their reason, making them twice as lethal. Worse, the Halfies are joined by a breed of were-creature long believed extinct—back and more dangerous than ever. Meanwhile, Evy’s attempts at reconciliation with the man she loves take a hit after Wyatt is viciously assaulted—an attack traced to Thackery, who has not given up his quest to exterminate all vampires . . . even if he has to destroy Dreg City to do it. Review: Wolfsbane By Andrea Cremer

WOLFSBANE
ANDREA CREMER
RATING
3/5 STARS

Let me just say the first book in the series was AMAZING!!!
This book not so much. It felt like the whole book revolved around Calla and her love life. Should she sleep with Shay? Does she love Ren? Thats what annoyed me most about this book that Calla first priority was HER not her Pack but HER. Other then Calla and her annoying love life the book was Awesome I was sad through out the whole book especially when Ethan found her brother Ansel, and when Calla found out her entire pack was being tortured and her mom was killed because of her. I think the book could have been a home run if it would not had focused to much on the love triangle. The ending was also a OMG ending it left you wanting for more.

Review:Silence Becca Fitzpatrick

SILENCE
BECCA FITZPATRICK
RATING
3/5 STARS

What can I say I was never a fan of the series to begin with but I don't like dropping series just because I hate them. I knew not to expect to love the book because the other 2 where mediocre at best but this book was just awful. I don't like bad mouthing books because I'm sure the authors spend alot of time writing book and I don't want people to think that I'm just a mean blogger but seriously to me it felt like Becca is just trying to milk the cash cow cause seriously first it was suppose to be a 2 book series but every time I think the books going to end I find out she announces another book. I know that sometimes the author's don't plan it when a idea comes along and they have to make the series longer but seriously at least she could be creative there is nothing creative about her books they just seem like the angel version of Twilight and I'm not saying Twilight a bad series but seriously I think by now everyone is tired of reading and wasting there money on bad twilight rewrite's.
The only thing I do have to give props to Becca and the reason I didn't give the book 1 star was that the book doesn't revolve around sex like seriously now most YA novels end up with a 16 or 17 year old girl having sex and I personally think that's giving a bad message saying that most girls lose there virgin at that age or think only about having sex and in my opinion that is totally false because at that age most of my friends where virgins and we never really talked about " Doing it with our boyfriends" I think it's just total cliché. I do think Becca is going to wait until the 4th book for Patch and Nora to have sex like in Twilight, but like I said total rewrite.

All in all do I recommend reading this book? No I think there's a a better use for 15$.

Does anyone know of any good YA series because I swear every time I pick up a YA book I can't wait to put it down.

Review: Anna Dressed In Blood By Kendare Blake

ANNA DRESSED IN BLOOD
KENDARE BLAKE
RATING
4/5 STARS

This is such a unique book never read something like this. When I picked up the book I thought it was simply going to be another YA paranormal novel but it was so much more. The book starts out with Cas who is basically a ghost hunter who sends them to there after life. After killing the County 12 hiker he gets a call from a friend saying that there's a ghost in Thunder Bay that the locals called Anna Dressed in Blood. Anna was found murdered in 1958 in a white dressed with her throat slashed and they say that anyone who goes in the house she lived in does not come out alive. Cas enrolls into high school and tries to investigate who Anna was and what the locals know about her. Thats when he meets Carmel and he starts to ask her about Anna when her boyfriend Mike comes by before Carmel can answer his questions so he is forced to hang out with Carmel to get more information, so when Carmel invites Cas to a party he has no choice but to go. At the party Cas ask Carmel about Anna and that's when she tells him about how Anna was killed on her way to her school dance and she was wearing a white dress and when they found her,the dress was covered all in blood that's why shes called Anna Dressed in blood. After shes done telling him the story Mike and his friends take him to Anna'a home and when they get there Mike attacks Cas and Cas ends up entering Anna's house and when Anna sees Mike and Cas in her house she goes berserk and kills Mike but spars Cas life. After that Cas goes back and tries to figure out who Anna is and if he can save her.

I really enjoyed the book, but I think the only problem I had with the book was that the Cover and the name of the book is kinda deceiving because I thought the book was going to be more about Anna being a ghost but it was more about Cas and his friends ghost hunting adventures.

Review Rogue by Rachel Vincent

ROGUE
RACHEL VINCENT
RATING
3/5 STARS

Ohhh... Faythe uhm... what can I say other than I'm disappointed. I was expecting Faythe to step up to the plate and act more mature but it seem like shes acting the same way she did 5 years ago. First she runs away from Marc a day from their weeding, but I understand that because she was just fresh out of high school but now 5 years later Marc ask her to commit to him not Marry him but she still can't do it? I was so frustrated because Marc has been faithful to her for 5 years and all he's asking Faythe to promise to one day marry him and all she could promise him is not to cheat on him while their together. I'm glad when Marc finally left Faythe because Faythe needs to wake up and see whats in front of her and if she can't then she deserves what she gets. One thing I did like was that Faythe stepped up to the plate when it comes to the Pride her love life may be in the gutter but at least one day she'll make a great Alpha if she can get through the trial.

Review Stray by Rachel Vincent

STRAY
RACHEL VINCENT
RATING
5/5 STARS

I have to say I'm surprised I liked this book, I don't usually read books longer than 400 pages because after 400 pages my mind tends to wander of and I can't focus on the book, so I tend to stay clear from long books, but I gotta say I'm surprised because I couldnt stop reading this book each chapter just kept getting better and better. I think Faythe is officially one of my favorite heroines she kicks butt and she doesn't give a fuck what people think she does what she wants and says what she wants. I don't know what else to say than this book was really good and if you haven't read it you need to read it PRONTO!

Review Storm Born By Richelle mead

STORM BORN
RICHELLE MEAD
RATING
4/5 STARS

I'm a really Huge fan of Richelle Mead I love her Vampire Academy series but this series was a little blah for me.
Eugenie whined that she didn't trust the Fey and what does she do she sleeps with one, but technically Kiyo not fey he's a shapeshifting Fox but same difference he's from the Otherworld, and she forgets everything her Shaman step dad taught her and jump head first into the fey world and trust Kiyo and the Fey king Dorian. Thats not what annoyed me most it's that she seems to jump to conclusion without asking question and she is to trusting on those who she's not suppose to trust. First Dorian is Fey and wants to bring the Fey back to the Human world and the only way to do that is to Sire Eugenie first born son, and Kiyo wants the opposite he wants the Fey to stay where they are and to me the logical conclusion would be that Kiyo would want to see Eugiene dead. What does Eugiene do she starts dating Kiyo and when she finds out that Kiyo and Maiwann are going to have have a child she breaks up with him for not telling her the truth. What's the first thing she does she sleeps with Dorian even though she knows that its dangerous . I think Eugiene is stupid and should not be trusting either Dorian or Kiyo, but out of the two I'am team Dorian he seems more genuine than Kiyo who just sugar coats everything unlike him Dorian who tells Eugiene the truth even though sometimes it's for his own gain . One thing I liked best about Richelle Meads is that she knows how to portrays a strong heroine with a back bone. I know I said that Eugiene Whines alot and is to trusting but even saying that she does not let that get in her way of making things right. Eugiene never seems to give up no matter how shitty things turn out. Can't wait to read the next in series.
