ANNA DRESSED IN BLOOD
KENDARE BLAKE
RATING
4/5 STARSThis is such a unique book never read something like this. When I picked up the book I thought it was simply going to be another YA paranormal novel but it was so much more. The book starts out with Cas who is basically a ghost hunter who sends them to there after life. After killing the County 12 hiker he gets a call from a friend saying that there's a ghost in Thunder Bay that the locals called Anna Dressed in Blood. Anna was found murdered in 1958 in a white dressed with her throat slashed and they say that anyone who goes in the house she lived in does not come out alive. Cas enrolls into high school and tries to investigate who Anna was and what the locals know about her. Thats when he meets Carmel and he starts to ask her about Anna when her boyfriend Mike comes by before Carmel can answer his questions so he is forced to hang out with Carmel to get more information, so when Carmel invites Cas to a party he has no choice but to go. At the party Cas ask Carmel about Anna and that's when she tells him about how Anna was killed on her way to her school dance and she was wearing a white dress and when they found her,the dress was covered all in blood that's why shes called Anna Dressed in blood. After shes done telling him the story Mike and his friends take him to Anna'a home and when they get there Mike attacks Cas and Cas ends up entering Anna's house and when Anna sees Mike and Cas in her house she goes berserk and kills Mike but spars Cas life. After that Cas goes back and tries to figure out who Anna is and if he can save her.
I really enjoyed the book, but I think the only problem I had with the book was that the Cover and the name of the book is kinda deceiving because I thought the book was going to be more about Anna being a ghost but it was more about Cas and his friends ghost hunting adventures.
Okay, number one, you've got some of your facts wrong. I would consider re reading the book. You should make sure that you at least know what you're saying. This book is amazing.
