[Review] Biting Cold: Author Chloe Neill

Biting Cold by Chloe Neill
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Chloe never disappoints this is by far........ the best book in the Chicago Vamp series :) Give me more I need more Meritt and Ethan

The book picks up where book five ended

Ethan and Meritt are forced to join forces with the Order Chief Archivist in order to protect the Maleficium and to keep it from Mallory hands. But what they don't know is that Mallory isn't the only one after the Maleficium. A old enemy will come back and if he and Mallory gets there hands on the Maleficium a evil will be unleashed like no one has ever seen before.

I love this book it was so awesome and we found out alot of shit we didn't know before. Thank you Chloe for answering some questions :)

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

Like we finally meet Darius the BOT(Bitch on Top) the leader of Greenwich Presidium, which basically rule all the vampires and keeps them on check. We get to see how Darius wants to cast out the Cadogan House out of the GP because of all the drama that has gone on surrounding the Cadogan house, but whats more surprising is how it all ends (cough cough last page)

We also get to see Meritt and Ethan finally take a step toward a relationship and all I have to say is THANK YOU finally it is like 5 books over do,but what I like best is that there both actually talking about there problems instead of ignoring them and getting mad.

But all in all the book was awesome there is only one thing I would change about this book and that would be add more GABRIEL I love him he's just so manly and Alpha. Grrr.. want more Gabriel next book.

[Review] Gunmetal Magic Author Ilona Andrews

Gunmetal Magic by Ilona Andrews
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ilona and Andrew did it again this book was AMAZING!
Ilona could probably write a paragraph and make it the most interesting paragraph ever. Now I'll just have to wait for their next Kate's Daniel book, and one thing I know for sure is that there not going to disappoint.

Andrea has never been able to count on anyone and anything all she has accomplish has been done on her own sweat and blood, but when things where starting to change and she knew she could count on Raphael and Kate but than a tragedy happened and she was left alone again. Now Andrea has to rebuild her life after being kicked out by the Knight of Merciful Aid. All she has left is Kate who stood by her side while she was going through shit and Kate has offered her a job working for her company Cutting Edge, now Andrea has to go and investigate who is killing members of the pack. But she will have to work alongside Raphael who left her when she most needed him, but she knows that without his help she will not be able to find the killer in time.

Will they be able to workout there problems or will they be left alone with nothing but their pride?

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

I gotta say I was routing for Raphael and Andrea ever since they broke up in book 4 but what I like best about there relationship was that they weren't all mushy mushy they knew they both had issues and they where able to work out there issues before they got together and that to me is what a real relationship is about not just saying I'm sorry and going back to fucking like nothing happened. No that is not what happened it was a long and slow process before they finally forgave each other and decided to become Mate.

[Review] The Lady is a Vamp by Lynsay Sands

The Lady is a Vamp by Lynsay Sands
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Better than I expected.

So I have been extremely disappointed in the last couple of novels Mrs.Sands has written. After reading the last couple of books it felt like the characters where lacking and 90% of the time I felt like the author was pushing the relationship on them instead of it coming naturally, but this book was a total surprise the plot was actually cute and believable though there where some problem with the story over all I highly enjoyed it and it gives me hope for the series.

First of all I like to say that Jeanne and Paul where so cute together they made a awesome couple and the way both of them have suffered and been through heart break make the story more enjoyable and make me like the characters more. But what I like best about this book was how Paul put his child first and showed how he would do anything to keep her alive and that to me made me fall in love with Paul he seemed like a great dad and would make great husband material.

The reason I did not give the book 5 stars was because toward the end the book just went down hill. I won't spoil the ending but it wasn't as satisfying as the beginning or middle it was just ok and left you craving for a better ending.

[Netgalley Review] Covet Author Melissa Darnell

Covet by Melissa Darnell
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Covet picks up where Crave left, Savannah has saved Tristans from the Vampire council but it comes at a price Savannah has promised to break up with Tristan and never see him again. But what Savannah isn't prepared for is Tristan, who vowed not to give up on Savannah and he promised her that he would find a way for them to be together. Soon they realize that they arnt prepared for what has been thrown at them.

Will there love survive both the Vampire Council and The Clann or will they be torn apart for good?

Better than the first book it seemed better composed and it had you guessing Savannah and Tristans future together the whole book. What bothered me alot and made me give the book 3 stars was that Tristan and Savannah went back and forth through out the whole book. They did the whole I love you but I can't be with you, and I love you and I want to be with you lets try it again through out the entire book. I was seriously fed up ,and by the end of the book I really did not care if they ended up together or not all I wanted was for them to decided and to STOP going back and forth because it took up to much of the books time.

I will definitely read the next book the ending was satisfying and redeemed the book for me.

[Review] Solid Author Shelley Workinger

Solid by Shelley Workinger
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

OMG
I can't believe I waited so long to read this book it was really good.

Calliope is one of hundred teenagers that was sent to a Army base to do research on after Colonel Clark finds out that drugs were given to pregnant women, and they want to find out if the drugs have any permanent affects or if it has altered there DNA. Soon Clio and her friends find out that the drugs give them a little extra something something some of the kids are abnormally good athletes and some are great artist but the the third are the "normal kids" which soon Clio finds out is a lie they have the ability to become invisible. So now Clio and her friends have to find out why they have been lied to and why? They soon realize that their is someone out their who means them harm so now they have to find out what's going on and who's behind everything before it's to late.

For being Shelley first novel it was really good. I found that most first time author'shave their story line all over the place but Shelley kept the issue of the book front focus she didn't put the romance aspect of the book as front focus don't get me wrong I love Romance books but sometimes Romance takes front focus and distracts me from the main issue and I end up hating the book because of it. But Shelley found a perfect balance of both Romance/Action. Only issue I had was that the book wasn't long enough and that the ending was not satisfying at all.

I will definitely read the next book.

[Review] The Light Tamer Author Devyn Dawson

The Light Tamer by Devyn Dawson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Jessie has had her world turn upside down in two weeks her father has left to Greece to find him self and her mother has forced Jessie to visit her Grandmother for the summer who lives in North Carolina.
If that wasn't enough she finds out she's a light tamer and she has a soulmate who happen to be the Nerdy kid who saved her from drowning when she was a kid,but now he's not so Nerdy anymore he's all grown and hot. But soon Jessie will find out that not everything is perfect there are bad light tamers out there who will try to suck the light out of Jessie and Caleb. Now Caleb and Jessie have to figure out who's trying to steal there light before it's to late.

SPOILER SPOILER DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW HOW IT ENDS.

The book had great potential but it was way to short and i felt like none of the characters where well developed. Also Jessie's and Caleb relationship felt to superficial.

Not in Caleb's view of point because I could actually see that he truly loves Jessie since the day he saved her from drowning and gave her a piece of his heart. But in Jessie's view point she only remembers Caleb as the scrawny pale, creepy kid who use to always hang around her trying to hold her hand, and her opinion of Caleb totally changes after she see's him and he's all hot and sexy it's like seriously? What if he would have still been the scrawny pale kid would you still feel the same way and have that "unexpected connection "that makes you want to kiss him the instant you see him?

I don't know through out the whole book Jessie bothered me I just did not like her she just seemed so stupid and I officially hated her towards the end when she forgot who Caleb was and the way and was like out of love with him and in love with another (she was hit by some lightning and forgot who Caleb was and lost her bond with Caleb when some other light tamer saved her so now she has bonded with some other dude which by the way don't remember his name and don't feel like looking it up cause he's not important, all you need to know about him is he's a douche and doesn't even come close to measuring up to Caleb} It's like seriously? Especially after Caleb was there the whole time trying to make her remember and Jessie seemed totally uncaring she was rude and mean to Caleb the entire time telling him to get out and that she doesn't want to see him.

I totally felt for Caleb I actually wanted to cry for him because he has suffered all these years without Jessie and she can't even bother to remember and instead of trying to remember she's all up on some other guy who by the way comes out of no where and says he's her soul mate, seriously can Caleb catch a break. But it all worked out in the end sort of I was kinda confuse and I'm looking forward to reading the next book and seeing if Jessie gets a clue and starts acting like she really loves Caleb cause if I was Caleb I would kick Jessie to the curve.

[Review] What The Heart Wants: Author Kelli McCracken

What the Heart Wants by Kelli McCracken
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

MUST READ !!!!!!

Heaven (OMG love that name) is in L.A. for the weekend to attend her bestfriends wedding along with her sisters Faith, and Hope who also happen to be her triplets and during the wedding recital she meets,Dylan who she instantly feels connected to and feels like she knows him from somewhere

But what Heaven doesn't know is that Dylan feels the same way and that the first time Dylan saw Heaven he instantly knew that she is the girl of his dream literally the girl of his dreams.
Dylan has been dreaming about Heaven for the past six months and he feels like he's missing a part of his heart until he meets Heaven, now all Dylan has to do is man up and tell Heaven how he feels but it's not as easy as he thinks because Dylan is afraid that Heaven doesn't feel the same way.

Will Dylan get over his fears and tell Heaven how he feels or will he let his fears ruine everything?

OMG I LOVE THIS BOOK!
Dylan is just OMG there is no word to describe him he's just perfect in the best way. The way Dylan and Heaven interact you could tell right away they are meant to be together forever and whatI love best about the book is how Dylan and Heaven came to be soul mate, I swear I was literally crying during some parts especially when the book switched to Dylan POV gah I wish the whole book would have been in Dylan's POV the way his mind worked and the way he feels is just inspiring and it has me wishing for true love.
I'm glad I read this book I almost didn't because the cover just didn't do it for me,so if your holding back on reading this book because of the cover don't because the book's AMAZING!
